How to Request Account Deletion

If you would like to delete your PocketBill: Sub Tracker account and all associated data, please send an email to:

[email protected]

Please include the following in your email:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
The email address you used to sign in to PocketBill: Sub Tracker (your Google account email)

For your security, we can only process requests sent from the registered email address itself.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Once your request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted from our servers:

Your account information (Firebase user ID, email address, display name, profile picture)
All expense records and their history
All item / asset records, purchase prices and depreciation data
All subscription records and renewal schedules
All custom categories
App preferences and settings synced to the cloud

This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you want to keep a copy, please export or record it before submitting your request.

Data Stored Only on Your Device

PocketBill: Sub Tracker is local-first, so a copy of your records also lives on your phone. To remove that copy, uninstall the app, or go to Android Settings → Apps → PocketBill: Sub Tracker → Storage → Clear data. If you never signed in, this is the only copy that exists and no request to us is needed.

Subscriptions, Purchases & RevenueCat

If you have used in-app subscriptions or purchases, please note:

Manage in the store: subscriptions and purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed by our subscription provider RevenueCat. Deleting your PocketBill: Sub Tracker account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel it in the App Store or Google Play to stop future billing.
Our data on RevenueCat: when your account is deleted, we also remove the subscriber data linked to your app-level user ID from RevenueCat. Transaction records required for billing, refunds or legal compliance may be retained by the stores and RevenueCat for the period required by applicable law.
Before you delete: we recommend cancelling any active subscription first, so no further charges occur after your account is gone.

Processing Time and Retention

You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted. We do not retain any personal data after deletion, except where retention is required by law.
